Saturday was the Spring Fayre of the British School in Tokyo, and there were many comments about the weather being typically British. That said, the rain did not dampen anyone’s spirits and a Totally great day was had by all! We were so busy chatting away and sharing the love for adventure that we didn’t manage to take many pics 😦 But enjoy these few that we did get from the end of the day.
It was awesome to share the TotallyTandem project with the BST community and we were overwhelmed by the generous support we received.
So much gratitude goes to the PTA for helping us to run our Silent Auction and supporting our fund-raising efforts.
A HUGE round of applause to all the amazing ones for donating the awesome prizes to the Silent Auction; adidas, Sealskinz, SinDen, Tokyo Snow Club and TokyoPhysio. You guys are just brilliant!
And of course, much kudos to those funky people who showed their TotallyTeam Spirit by donning the T-shirt. You all looked fabulous!
We raised a total of ¥79,000 ALL of which goes straight to World Bicycle Relief – that’s equivalent to almost 6 bicycles! Woohoo! None of this would have been possible without all of this excellent support and we truly thank you all so much for getting involved and helping us to get closer to our fund-raising goals!
Also, a special mention to Alice Wright for her sterling efforts at the Fayre. She completed a 4hour non-stop cycle as part of her “12 endurance challenges in 2013” to raise money for MacMillian Cancer Charity.
Please check out her ‘Just Giving’ page: http://www.justgiving.com/Alice-Wright7. We salute you Alice!
